HYDRO ORGANIC CLAY BALLS PREMIUM HYDROPONIC

Hydro Clay, quality substrate consisting of spheres of expanded clay, which provide inert structural support for plant roots in hydroponic systems. The consistently round shape (8-16mm, 20-40mm) provides a high degree of aeration, which ensures extremely quick drainage and unimpeded root growth.

The clay balls are also less susceptible to pest and disease than other solid substrates. Hydro Clay is an ideal substrate to provide structural support and ensure the efficient drainage of liquid during plant growth.

Hydro clay ball

Hydro Clay Balls are a great growing medium substrate for hydroponics consisting of spheres of expanded clay, which provide inert structural support for plant roots in hydroponic and aquaponics systems.

The clay pebbles are manufactured from special types of clay that have a low soluble salt content. Because of this, they are particularly suited for use in closed hydroponic cultivation systems. They have both high porosity and high air content which stimulate the development of strong roots that grip the substrate well.

General Directions For Use:

General rule of thumb to follow in irrigating plants is to apply 10-15% more water than the container will hold. Frequency of application will depend upon plant size and grow room temperature, but will vary from one 15 minute feed every hour while the lights are on during the first weeks of growth then one 15 minute feed every two hours starting several minutes before the lamps have been turned on. Only water the plants in the day period.

Perlite Super Coarse Horticultural Grade Expanded Perlite

Horticulture Grade Perlite – Horticultural grade perlite is derived from a naturally occurring, volcanic rock. When furnaced at high temperatures, perlite “pops” and expands up to 10 times its original volume. The resulting, lightweight particles are made up of microscopic spheres with a porous, irregular surface that stores moisture and promotes plant growth.

Our perlite products have proven themselves as a consistent growing media for horticulture because they improve the characteristics of every organic material they are mixed with including peat moss, compost, bark, coir, or in native soil. Horticultural grade perlite is stable and will not degrade or compact over time. It maintains consistent aeration and drainage for plant roots and will not decompose or deplete nitrogen levels in the soil.
Adding perlite to soil and growing media lightens the soil and introduces pore spaces that allow air and water to penetrate the root system. Excess moisture is permitted to drain out and maintain balanced air and moisture conditions which contribute to healthy biological and microbial activity, and minimize the chances for rot.
Uses – Propagation of seedlings and cuttings – Soil conditioning – Hydroponics – Roof deck gardens and eco-roofs – Nursery stock – Hanging baskets – Turf enhancement – Newly planted trees and plants

Red Lava Stones Aquarium Rock for Aquascaping Terrariums, Paludariums,Vivariums, Reptile and Amphibian Enclosures, Fish Tank Decoration Landscape Stone

【Pure Natural Lava Stone】Red lava is of volcanic origin and is rich in minerals and trace elements. It remains in its original state, except for being hand-picked and cleaned. It has a rough texture and is rich in pores, so it has a very large surface area and a lighter mass than common stones.

【Contrasting Red】It has a actively and naturally support the contrasting colors in the landscape, i.e. black and green, makes aquascaping richer. Red lava stones are attractive to some ornamental fish and induce them to produce brilliant colors.

【Porous Structure for Bacteria Cultivation and Water Purification】The porous texture of lava rock creates a good habitat for the survival and development of beneficial bacteria such as nitrifying bacteria, making the aquarium environment healthier. The rough surface also has a filtering function that absorbs harmful bacteria, debris, feces and harmful heavy metal ions, keeping the water in the tank clean.

【Stable Nature and Activated Water】Lava stone is stable in nature, so it does not affect the composition of the aquarium and increase the hardness of the water, and it helps to stabilize the PH value and mineral content. It also promotes the activity of oxygen ions in the water, which helps the metabolism of plants and animals in the aquarium.
